Ingredients to make the best pancake mix:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk (whole milk for a creamier taste)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Pancake Recipe Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, blend the flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar with a whisk.
  2. In another bowl mix up the milk, melted butter, egg and vanilla extract then incorporate it into the dry ingredients until just blended together. The resulting batter should be slightly lumpy.
